Valentine's Day 2017

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!  It's not too late to whip up some beautiful crocheted hearts to sprinkle among your favorite peeps, so go to my Ravelry page for the free pattern!  Please post your hearts, I love seeing the projects that crocheters have come up with using this pattern (making two and filling with potpourri has been a fave).

Unfortunately, my sweetie is out of town this year, so I'll be doing the next best thing:  crocheting and watching trashy tv :-).  I hope everyone's day is filled with fun and love.

Hearts Abound!

Happy Valentine's everyone!  Hope you're embracing the pink and red today.  For some last minute decorations, please enjoy my Simple Heart pattern from Ravelry.

I love all the projects that these hearts have inspired -- potpourri-filled hearts, coasters, and even the cover of a Valentine's card!

Have a happy day!!

Gorilla on a Pole

I'm always so amazed and tickled by how creative crocheters can be!  Last night I checked into my Ravelry account and came across this post by karal3012 who crocheted my Simple Hearts pattern in an unexpected way:

"Modeled by George the cross dressing gorilla, these pasties would look great on any burlesque enthusiast.  After crocheting these little goodies I backed them with a layer of liquid latex and let dry, they can be applied to the skin with a bit of eyelash glue. For the center sparkly a gob of hot glue and some red hot glitter. Nothing better than a pair of sparkly boobies."

How fabulous!!!  Many kudos to karal3012~

Ok, hope this makes your Wednesday :-)
